Maverick Johnson (b. 2002) is a painter and mixed media artist from Jacksonville, Florida. He graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art as a General Fine Arts major. Johnson’s work incorporates themes of struggle, human connectivity, nostalgia, ‘home’ and memory. Interests such as abandoned spaces and the surrounding environment he finds himself in heavily influence his work and its content.
